Jenkintown, PA – [September 2, 2025] – Friends of Education is proud to announce the appointment of Jeff Gibson as Director, bringing more than 25 years of experience in relationship management, account development, and fundraising across corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Gibson has worked as an EITC fundraiser for over a decade at another nonprofit scholarship organization (SO) that participates in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs. He has experience working with high-net-worth donors and has increased access to private schools for families by raising millions of dollars through these tuition assistance programs.
At Friends of Education, Gibson will leverage his extensive network of corporate leaders, small business owners, and financial professionals to advance Friends of Education’s mission of expanding educational opportunities for Pennsylvania’s K–12 students. Friends of Education has successfully allocated over $33 million in contributions to more than 200 Educational Improvement Organizations (EIOs) and Scholarship Organizations (SOs) during the 2024–2025 calendar year.
