We are thrilled to announce that Brooke Mattingly has joined Friends of Education as our new Development Director. Brooke brings over a decade of experience in fundraising and development within the education sector, where she has consistently exceeded goals and strengthened philanthropic engagement.
Most recently, Brooke served as the Director of The SCH Fund and Assistant Director of Development at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, where she managed multi-million-dollar annual giving campaigns, including significant contributions through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (“EITC”) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program (“OSTC”). Her leadership was instrumental in increasing alumni and parent participation, and her innovative approach to stewardship helped raise over $250K annually through giving day campaigns.
Brooke’s career also includes key roles at The Baldwin School and The Hill School, where she managed comprehensive fundraising initiatives and played a pivotal role in numerous capital campaigns. She has a proven track record of cultivating strong donor relationships, managing volunteer groups, and driving successful giving campaigns. Her passion for education, particularly in extending access and creating opportunities for students from all backgrounds, aligns perfectly with the mission of Friends of Education.
Friends of Education supports K-12 education throughout Pennsylvania by facilitating individual, small business, and corporate donations in the EITC program. In 2023 through 2024, Friends of Education raised over $17 million dollars in the EITC program. Friends of Education has streamlined the EITC process to assist donors in their participation in the Scholarship and Educational Improvement Organization Programs.
